StrongArm's 200 Favorite Tracks of 2011 #110- 101

#110 MED "Outta Control" feat. Hodgy Beats Prod. Madlib

This is another dope cut off MED's "Classic" album. 10 of the 14 tracks on the project were produced by Madlib, this was one of the nastiest beats from him. Peep the track above, MED's album is available :  http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/classic/id468775106

#109 Stalley "Harsh Ave" prod. Ski Beatz

This is a dope cut, one of my favorite Stalley tracks. Makes me wonder what a Ski beatz & Stalley project, (whcih is rumored to be in the works), would sound. Stalley spits: "Different types of fiends out here, they all need a fix, the uppers and the downers, the hate is all around us, i feel em when they come to me to drown out, attention from these cowards, between dirt roads and flowers, i sit n dream for hours, same mindset as desmond tutu, got a couple screws loose..." Stalley has dropped some real dope tracks and signed to Maybach Music Group in 2011, it will be interesting to see what he does in 2012. #108 Childish Gambino "Bonfire"

This is a real catchy song. Easily the best track on his album... He spits: "Move white girls like theres coke up my ass crack, move black girls cuz fuck ill do either, i love pussy, i love bitches, dude i should be running peter, in adidas with some short shorts, B.O. all over me, my green is where its 'sposed to be, your green is in my grocery, this asian , i stole his girl and now he got that koji beef... "Camp" is available now: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/camp/id474912044

#107 A$AP Rocky "Peso"

This is a real catchy song. A$AP Rocky has quickly become a household name. Look for him touring with Kendrick Lamar and Drake in 2012. THis track is my favorite off his "LiveLoveASAP" project.

#106 Reks "Mr. Nobody" prod. Statik Selektah

Another dope track off Reks' R.E.K.S. album. This one produced by Statik Selektah, has a nice hook, and allows Reks to show us his story telling side over a smooth Statik beat. Reks spits: "...Used to watch nicky on the scooter, a daughter with no father, may never realize,  a mans touch, a mans trust, scrutinize, you either treat her like your queen or your bitch right?..." R.E.K.S is available on itunes: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/rhythmatic-eternal-king-supreme/id417788988

#105 Big Sean "100 Keys" feat. Pusha T & Rick Ross

This is a dope track, sure they are bragging about how cats move coke in their neighborhoods, but hey, thats how it is. Sometimes you gotta speak on these realities. My favorite verse on this track is from Pusha T. Pusha spits: "100 keys, 100 please, my gazuntite  will make a whole city sneeze, walk the mud jungle where they grind it out for the leaves, so they swarm to my honeycomb, hideout for the bees..." but Big Sean also drops some hot bars, while Rick Ross is at least kinda tolerable. #104 Big K.R.I.T "American Rapstar"

Another dope story telling track from K.R.I.T. over a bangin instrumental. "They say that money make the world go round, you never lost till you lose your crown, and they dont love you till your under ground, or when you maxin out your bank account, you do it all just to live your life, even if it means you dont live it right, even if it means you dont survive tonight, and if you do wont you wont survive the hype, of American RapStar". One of the most memorable tracks of 2011 for sure. www.bigkrit.com

#103 Kendrick Lamar "Keisha's Song" prod. Tae Beast

This is an ill song, Kendrick gets on his Brenda's Gotta Baby/Black Girl Lost steez. A great track where he explores his socio/storytelling side, and raps about the "Keisha's" of the world. "She plays Mr. Shakur, thats her favorite rapper, bumpin Brenda's Gotta Baby as a pervert yelling at her, and she catchin features of a woman, but only 17, that 7 card hung in, the start runnin like flow joe, dont care if they Joe BLow, long as they got money to blow, a blow job is a sure go, She give it all to her daddy, but she don't know her father" This song is a good indication that Kendrick Lamar is going to continue to grow as an artist and can make music of all different styles. #102 Raekwon "The Scroll" prod. Evidence

This is a dope track, beat laced by none other than Evidence (Dilated Peoples). Raekwon spits on this dope instrumental that seemed to fit his style perfect. The beat reminds me of a combination of west coast hip-hop and western movies haha. Raekwon spits with a smooth flow "... He walked in the room, scar-rap, pair of timberlands b, this the potion, pulled the scroll out, ..."A dope story telling track from Rae off the dope "Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang" project. http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/shaolin-vs.-wu-tang/id418563751

#101 Slaughterhouse "Sun Doobie" prod. Mr. Porter

A dope cut off their EP which dropped shortly after they were signed to Shady/Aftermath. This track features all 4 emcees going in on a dope Mr. Porter instrumental. They all did their thing, but on this track I felt Crooked I's verse was crazy on this track. The EP: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/slaughterhouse-ep/id414201733
