This friday 4/8/11 on Fresh to death 6-10pm (90.5FM KSJS

This friday on Fresh to Death we got a packed show full of dope artists. Check us out on 90.5FM KSJS or streaming online at: http://www.ksjs.org/ksjs_live.html

DJ RCade of BevMo crew, who along with SmoovGroovs dropped the "Space Cakes" EP recently, http://noaff.blogspot.com/2011/03/space-cakes-ep.html . RCade will be coming through for a dope live dj set on Fresh to Death.

We have Project Blowd,  Swimteam and Grindtime emcee, Sahtyre, from Los Angeles comin through for an interview. We'll drop some dope tracks from Sahtyre and talk with him about current projects, future projects, battle rap, and the LA underground scene. Peep his music videos, battles below: also check out sahtyre's facebook music page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sahtyre/229407199148?ref=ts

We also will be joined by a trio of seasoned, 408 emcees, beasts of the SJ underground, Oneself Davinci, Ikaika Da Strong & Solis Cin. The three will be informing us on current projects they got going, shows, and future collaborations, as well as choppin it up about the 408 underground hip-hop scene.

We also have an interview with Amizzy of Stunt Doubles, young emcee who goes to San Jose State, and makes up 50% of rap duo, Stunt Doubles. Stunt doubles have collaborated with The Cataracs, The Pack, and other dope cali artists in the past, and have the ability to take their music to the masses. We'll be world premiering some of their tracks and having a chat with Amizzy about Stunt Doubles music. http://www.facebook.com/stuntdoubles

In addition we will have a phone interview with one of my favorite artists in the game. Fresno's Fashawn, who has been touring with Talib Kweli as of late, after his successful Higher Learning 2 tour with Fashawn & Curt@ins. Fashawn's album, Boy Meets world, was a instant classic, and in 2009 he joined the likes of J. Cole, Freddie Gibbs, Big Sean, Jay Rock & Wiz Khalifa. Fashawn's new mixtape Higher Learning 2 with DJ Ill WIll & Dj Rockstar, is already making noise and features a dope track produced by J. Cole "Nothing for the radio". In addition to the 2 aforementioned tours, Fashawn dropped an amazing set on the octagon-shaped, UFC inspired cage GRINDTIME stage at this year's Paid Dues this past saturday. We will attempt to get on the phone with Fashawn and see what he has in store for 2011. Props to his DJ F-Plus for helping arrange this as well.
